TOTEM FIRE JSC is entirely dedicated to one sole business: manufacturing top quality fireplaces. The craftsman skills combined with modern technologies such as computer design, laser cutting of steel sheets, drying varnish coating of firebox casing in a specialized furnace, ensure reliability and high quality. Totem® hearths conform to all binding regulations, especially NF EN 13229 and are covered by 5 years producer’s warranty (excluding ceramic glass and bricks).
Totem hearths constitute a combination of high-quality materials and technology with the outstanding design.
The casing of Totem® fireplaces is made of heat-resistant Corten® steel and the combustion chamber is lined with exceptionally durable, special bricks, which withstand a temperature of up to 1350°C and perfectly accumulate heat. Totem bricks are 5 cm think and have a unique composition, which - unlike relatively thin fireclay lining – ensures exceptional durability and resistance to cracking even in case of intensive use of fireplace.
The bricks are available in two colors (beige-yellowish and anthracite), two sizes (5,5x22 cm and 11x22cm) and two versions of arrangement (with or without “joints”), which allows us to meet diverse needs of customers, resulting from their individual interior decor or the color of the stone used for the fireplace surround.
All Totem fireplaces have been designed so that the steel elements were the most discreet and don’t veil the beautiful view of the fire. A unique feature of these devices is their constructional adjustment to burning with the door open. Thanks to large interior of the combustion chamber lined with bricks and the retractable doors, which – when lifted up - completely disappear in the fireplace hood (except for Vertivision model), we can enjoy a wonderful effect of traditional open fire.

Characteristics of Totem fireboxes, version:Eco Plus
- standard version: functional and safe,
- casing made of heat-resistant Corten® steel,
- double casing ensuring protection and ventilation of firebox’s mechanisms (e.g. door lifting),
- deflector made of 30 mm think vermiculite directs heat towards the combustion chamber and glass, which improves the appliance’s performance; it can be easily dismantled for servicing or chimney-sweeping,
- hot air collector with 4 hot air vents Ø 125 mm each, adjusted to installation of hot air distribution and protecting the mechanism of door lifting,
- outdoor combustion air ducted directly to the firebox,
- automatic opening of smoke valve synchronized with door opening system,
- the possibility of manual adjusting the position of the valve with the lever hidden in the casing,
- an Italian-style bricks placed on the floor of combustion chamber (around ashtray grate) for easier cleaning, improved combustion and reduced CO emission - when large logs of wood burn out, small pieces fall into the hollow and there they burn out too,
- easily removable ashtray in a form of capacious container with a convenient handle,
- cast iron ashtray grate with sliding shutter controlling an outside air intake,
- large plain bricks 11x22cm (standard), which can withstand temperature of up to 1350°C,
- bottom slat masking the connection of firebox with masonry,
- left or right bended ceramic glass - in lateral models,
- 3 ceramic glasses joined without steel bars – in 3 Faces and EPI models,
- conformity with EN 13229, CE,

- casing made of heat-resistant Corten® steel,
- door lifting mechanism hidden in the casing, ensures protection for the time of transport and handling,
- the casing around door lifting mechanism acts also as a smoke collector, i.e. upon opening the door in order to add some wood, the smoke does not escape immediately into the room,
- regulation lever for smoke damper on the front part of firebox casing (invisible after building the firebox in),
- the system of door closing ensures tightness of the firebox and/or prevents the door from spontaneous lifting up and dropping down,
- outdoor combustion air ducted directly to the firebox,
- an Italian-style bricks placed on the floor of combustion chamber (around ashtray grate) for easier cleaning, improved combustion and reduced CO emission - when large logs of wood burn out, small pieces fall into the hollow and there they burn out too,
